Papers from various tracks will be published in one of two proceedings:
The proceedings will be published on separate CDs and no print publication will be made. The difference between the proceedings is that the IEEE proceedings will be published by IEEE and will also be available on IEEE Explore. IEEE Explore is a digital library that requires a paid subscription for access. The supplemental proceedings will be published independent of IEEE, and will not be available on IEEE Explore. However, it will be made available on the web through the conference webiste. Thus, the supplemental proceedings will be available for free and should be fully searchable by search engines.

IEEE requires that all papers submitted for the IEEE proceedings be in PDF format. A conformance check is performed by IEEE before a file can be accepted. Certain types of files are converted to PDF by IEEE PDFExpress. If authors are having problems with the conversion, they should contact the publications chair.
Papers submitted to the supplemental proceedings must be in PDF as well. Slide presentations can be in Powerpoint or PDF, though PDF is always preferred.

All accepted papers (research papers, fast abstracts, student pages, panel and workshop summaries, and industry practice papers) must follow the IEEE Computer Society Format Guidelines:

Final Submission for IEEE Proceedings
Papers that go into the IEEE proceedings must be submitted by September 3rd through the IEEE Conference proceedings site. The link to the IEEE submission site will be in the author kit mailed to you.
Copyright Forms for IEEE Proceedings
For the IEEE proceedings, authors will sign the copyright agreement online when they complete the final submission process with IEEE.
Final Submission for Supplemental Proceedings
Papers to be printed in the supplemental proceedings need to follow the format provided here. You will find both the Word and Latex formats. The style is the 8.5'' by 11'', 2-column format.
Industry track presentations, fast abstracts, and student papers for the supplemental proceedings must be submitted through the START submission system by October 10, 2010. The details will be made available in the author notification emails.
For tracks other than industry, we will provide the authors an option to submit their slides before the conference.
